F. Whites Elsmeade Farm. Foaling is completed at Elsmeade and White reports that of the 35 new arrivals, 24 are colts. Last of the lot to arrive was a filly by War Admiral— Baby League, hence sister to Busher, Mr. Busher and Striking. The last named mare is being mated for the first time and goes to Princequillo. Among the group belonging to Ogden Phipps, in addition to the Baby League foal, are fillies by Polynesian— Black Helen and by Shut. Out — Bloodroot. A handsome colt in the Phipps lot is by War Admiral — Big Hurry. Prominen tamong the Brook-meade Stable foals are colts by Stymie Moon Magic, and by Pavot — Flower Bed. A chestnut filly in this group is by Whirl-away — Royal Venture, thus a brother Going Away. A colt by Challedon— Cocopet is the property. of Lazy F. Ranch, whose Ochita, by Eight Thirty — Cocopet, is being retired and will be mated with Challedon. There are 26 yearlings at Elsmeade, mostly the property of Brookmeade, Phipps and Lazy F and these will be broken the farm. * Plans are being considered for a new 32-stall barn at the Russell Cave Pike establishment which is also the home of the popular young War Admiral stallion Cable. This sires book has been oversubscribed and White plans to limit his services to some 30 mares. The worlds richest mare Gallorette is at Elsmeade and is reported in foal to Mahmoud.
