The new issue covers 12 days of sport from May 28 to June 9, inclusive. In a private transaction, Milton Resse- : guet sold Partridge to Marion H. VanBerg. The latter will condition his acquisition for : future engagements. Owner and trainer John E. Oros transferred Oswego Dr., Nictor, Fun Quest, Static Chaser, Soro, and Marchiness to Fairmount Park. The Oros unit will return to the Chicago sector for the fall meeting at Sportsmans Park. . Charlie Towle, owner and trainer of a ; : : modest stable, came in from Churchill Downs and registered four horses with the local racing secretary. Stake books for the forthcoming -Monmouth Park meeting were distributed to horsemen. The Monmouth meeting this year will comprise 46 days of sport starting June 16 and concluding August 8. Mrs. Emil Den em arks Ruhe, one of the more prominent candidates for the Peabody Memorial, took to the track Thursday morning and reeled off an impressive seven furlongs in 1:29%. Fractious compiled over the slow strip were :49% for the half mile and 1:16% for the six furlongs. Al Wancha, exercise boy formerly in the-employ of R. B. Berini, is requested to contact his previous employer. Wancha was last known to be galloping horses in the New Jersey sector. This is a matter of urgent importance.
