Dance Routine Outclasses Female Rivals at Pimlico Nick Shuk Completes His Third Riding Triple of Current Week PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 25. — J. M. Seibels Dance Routine, a daughter of Mr. Bones and Ado Annie, completely outclassed the three-year-old fillies sent against her in the featured Gwynn Oak purse and romped off with the main share of the spoils with 11 lengths to spare. In second position was Mrs. M. P. Wirths Florida Fay, who held a two-length advantage over Watson Elliotts Nina Rose. Swingalick and Beaurita completed the small field. Ideal spring weather and a fast track were the order of the day and a crowd of 8,903 enjoyed the program as the favorites clicked as regular as clock work. Dance Routine, at .00, was the fourth choice to score in five races. Her time for the mile and a sixteenth was 1:47%. Swingalick was in front for more than six furlongs, but gave way badly nearing the homelane, as both Dance Routine and Nina Rose moved to her. Straightening for the dash to the wire it appeared that the two challengers might put on a fair show, but Dance Routine clearly outclassed her rival and drew clear rapidly after having swerved sharply in vicinity of the furlong pole. Nick Shuk completed his third triple of the week when Starle Stables Kouli Khan won the mile and a sixteenth sixth race in 1:47%. Kouli Khan was the fifth winning favorite of the afternoon and paid .00 for .00. Todays semifinal program was an uninteresting one, to say the least, but regulars in this sector keenly watched developments in the race for training honors during the current session. Alan T. Clarke, who has enjoyed marked success this spring, made it a three-way tie when he sent Ala Mowlee out to win the fourth race for his seventh victory of the meeting. Others with the same number of winners are Charles R. White and George Mohr.
