Salvaggio Riding at Belmont BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 25. — John Salvaggio, who rode Here He Is in the opener, is a 19-year-old lad from South Brooklyn who has been with racing for four years and is now under lease to Louis Prima, the bandsman whose string is trained by Charles Reynolds, himself a former jockey. John has ridden 21 winners, the first of them Bows and Knots, on April 11, 1950 at Havre de Grace.
