~Ruth Lily, Star West Coast Filly, Flying to Arlington HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., June 5.— The Old English Ranchos Ruth Lily is heading for Chicago, according to an announcement by the, stable this morning, and she will pass .up her engagement in Saturdays running of the Cinema Handicap. If air transportation can be arranged for her the daughter of Kings Abbey and Ice Cube will depart Friday morning with Arlington Park her destination. Ruth Lily is a candidate for the Cleopatra, Warren Wright Memorial, Misty. Isle and Arlington Matron, and will be kept on the Chicago scene for the 67-day co-ordinated meeting at Arlington and Washington Parks. She will be accompanied east by Buddy Leavitt, son of her trainer, C. T. Lea-vitt. The Old English Rancho filly last Saturday won the Hollywood Oaks and earlier in the meeting was second to the colt Gold Note in the Will Rogers Handicap. Last winter she captured the Santa Susana at Santa Anita.
