Pick Henry Oyer Agramonte In Feature Bout at Detroit DETROIT, Mich., June 5 UP.— Clarence Henry, sixth - ranking heavyweight contender from Los Angeles, strong favorite today for his 10-round bout with Omelio Agramonte tomorrow at Olympia Stadium. Fresh from spoiling the big time debut of Detroit hopeful Embrel Davidson, Henry was favored to win by a knockout in their second meeting. Last February the California copped a 10-round decision from Agramonte after the bell saved the Cuban from a first round knockout. * Ten days ago Henry spotted Davidson more than 20 pounds. After a slow start he won by an eight-round knockout. At the time he was kayoed Davidson had a slight point lead and was on his way to a major upset. Agramonte has not* fought since he dropped his second 10-round decision to Joe Louis, May 2. Originally, he was scheduled to meet Henry, May 2, but when he was sidelined by stomach trouble, Davidson subbed. Henry will spot Agramonte around five pounds, weighing about 183 as he did against Davidson. Omelio, an expectionally fast heavyweight, seems undaunted by the heavy odds against his scoring a victory. He figures that hell be able to run Henry into the canvas and win going away. The bout will be carried on both radio and television by the Columbia Broadcasting System starting at 9 p. m. CDT.
