BATTLE MORN showed good speed to gain an early command, saved ground while turning back the challenge of FRANCS CRACKER and had enough left to outfinish TOOTSIE McCABE. The latter worked her way up on the outside, came to the middle of the track and was catching the winner. SEA FARE, in hand while close to the pace, rallied mildly through the late stages. 0. G. KELLEY passed tiring horses. FRANCS CRACKER weakened. TOP RAIDER went evenly. FALSE RUMOR and YARMOUTH FLARE were outrun. TROY ROAD worked, his way up on the outside, came to the inside in the stretch, responded to stout urging and was along to outfinish SIGNAL TEST The latter forced the pace, disposedof FIGHTING DAY and was bearing out near the end. MISS GADFLY closed well under late pressure. FIGHTING DAY drew clear soon after the start, was unable to shake off challenoes and weakened through the stretch. VILLAGE BEAU, outrun to-the final turn, made up ground on the extreme outside. BOSS" WELL raced close to the pace for a. half mile. RARE JEWEL was unable to keep up. SHY RULER was outrun. COURT RINA sped from the barrier into command, increased the lead with each stride and was never in danger. FAZZULA slow to settle into best stride, came through along the inside and closed willingly. JAKANOR, never far off the pace, rallied mildly in the late stages. WHISKEY JOHN broke alertly, dropped back on the far turn, responded to urging entering the stretch and closed well. INTERFERE raced slightly wide in the late stages. STOCK EXCHANGE lacked a rally. BARRE FLINT moved readily out in the better footing on the backstretch, came to the outside of the leaders in the stretch and closed strongly to outfinish PADDY LANE. The latter forced the pace, came to the outside of the leader in the stretch, gained a slight advantage and just missed. JUST A FOOT moved rapidly along the inside to gain command before a quarter mile, continued to set the pace while saving ground, then shortened stride in the final furlong. DUMJOHN, in hand while working his way up on the outside, rushed boldly when put to pressure, passed the leader on the outside, drew clear before entering the stretch and was an easy winner. ANALYSIS closed stoutly from off the pace. RIVER BOYNE was hustled to the first turn, came out slightly, was straightened and set the pace to the far turn, then held on stubbornly, although no match for the winner. CONTRASAIL rallied mildly in the late stages. OLD SCHOOL passed tiring horses. CRAZETTE weakened. SASON was through early. JOLLY IRISH was carried wide on the first turn, remained close to the pace for a half mile, then tired.
