Augusts III Racing Luck DETROIT, Mich., June 5.— H. H. Smith, trainer for Mr. and Mrs. L. Seaferts August, reported that the plater August threw both front plates in his racje on June 2. August displayed early speed in the six-furlong event but, of course, stopped badly after losing his plates. August was entered to be claimed for ,500 on the day of his ill racing luck.
