Great Circle Training Well For Hollywood Engagements HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., June 5. — Yolo Stables Great Circle and his stablemates, Prince Holly, Sona, Tonga and Polyxena, all withstood their trip from New York in fine shape, trainer Warren Stute said this morning. Contrary to reports, Great Circle did not get a splint in New York, according to Stute. He did wrench his right foreleg in the Grey Lag Handicap at Jamaica and had to be taken out of training for a few days. This interruption did not give Stute enough time to ready him for the Suburban Handicap, but the horse has been in steady training for over three weeks, he said. Stute is pointing Great Circle for all the major Hollywood Park stakes for which he is eligible, and there is a chance that his first stakes appearance may be in the Inglewood Handicap June 23.
