Ohio Notes FORT MIAMI, Maumee, Ohio, May 14. R. C. "Prince" Hann, who is doing a splendid job as publicity director and public relations man, and Al Olsen, his chief and capable assistant, will leave for Detroit following the conclusion of the Fort Miami meeting on Saturday. Nate Krauss, paddock judge and identifier at this course, will leave for Delaware Park at the end of this meeting. J. R. Watkins, clerk of the scales at the Maumee course, and Ralph Baltimore, who serves pir racing secretary Van Zandts staff, will depart Sunday for Omaha, where they will take up their duties as placing judge and patrol judge, respectively. Dave Russell, placing-judge at this plant, will leave for St. Louis, where he will serve in a similar capacity at the Fairmount Park meeting, while Frank "Buss" Daniels, patrol judge and an attache in the secretarys here, will also leave for Fairmount Park, to assume his duties. Mike Zeller, a placing judge at the Fort Miami course, will depart for Waterford Park, W. Va., where he also serves in the same capacity following the close here on Saturday. Frank Grand, veteran horseman, who is one of the placing judges here, will leave for the Chicago area when Fort Miami comes to a close here this week. Luther Henderson Van Zandt, prominent racing secretary and official, will leave for Cleveland Sunday morning for a short rest before resuming his mid-summer activities.
