Henry C. Riddle, Veteran Trainer, Dies in New York BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 14. — Henry C. "Doc" Riddle, 82, died last night at the St. Albans Nursing Home after a brief illness. Riddle, who was one of the most widely respected of the older generation of trainers, raced in Canada, Mexico and this country with great suc-■ cess, though never having the fortune to acquire a great horse. Born in Canada, Riddle was a graduate of the veterinary college of McGill University of Montreal. The remains are at the DuPont Funeral Home, 82-89 Lefferts Boulevard, Kew Gardens, Long Island, from where the funeral, arranged by The Jockey Club, will be held at 2:00 p. m. tomorrow.
