PLAYBORO moved up fast nearing the stretch, suffered interference when bumping with TWO-DUCKS, then assumed command near the finish and lasted to hold SCRIPTWRITER safe. The latter, a keen factor from the start, closed gamely under urging, but could not overtake the top one. SET SHOT began alertly, but faltered during the stretch run. ROLL BAMA weakened after racing prominently to the last eighth mile. CLINK was never dangerous. TWO-DUCKS begarr fast and failed to recover after bumping with PLAYBORO at the stretch run. VINVIC raced evenly while saving ground to the stretch, responded well when set down ir the drive and wore down GANJA in the last strides. GANJA, a sharp factor from the start, assumed command nearing the stretch and, after establishing a clear lead, was unable to withstand the top one, although much the best of the others. FIGHTING MIND, on the inside for the drive, faltered during the last sixteenth mile. TRUE MELODY raced wide through the stretch and could not reach the leaders. ISLE SEA gave a dull effort. LUCKY SKIPPER failed to stay after showing early speed. POTTERAC was through early. SKY VIRGIN, could not keep up. Overweight— Sky Virgin, 3 pounds. THIRD RACE 6 FURLONGS out of chute. ALDALE, never far back, responded to brisk urging during the stretch run and, after disposing of the leaders, won going away. BRAVO, away sluggishly, was hustled to the front before going a guarter mile, made the pace until inside the stretch, then faltered and could not withstand the winner. UNCLE OTHO lacked early speed, but finished fast in the middle of the track. BLUE BADGE engaged BRAVO to the last eighth, reached the lead during the drive, but weakened when near the finish. FLY OUT, outrun to the stretch, closed fast under punishment. ALPHAS CHOICE, forwardly placed from the beginning, had a rough trip through the stretch. VINITA TONEY was outrun. CLEANED was never dangerous. SLAMMING SLAM unseated his rider while at the post and galloped off a slow guarter mile, then displayed early speed, but failed to stay in the running. GALLANT DOLLY, smartly handled, assumed command soon after the start, steadily increased the advantage while saving ground and drew clear during the stretch run under mild urging. HUNTERS" GLORY, on the inside throughout, closed determinedly under punishment, but could not get to the top one. RENA POP raced evenly to the stretch, but failed to respond when set down in the drive. BALITOWN, caught between horses at the stretch turn, was eased back and failed to recover. TOY DOG lacked early speed and was never prominent. BOSS ELLIS tired. MEDLEY •MAID bore out badly during the last three-eighths mile and lost all chance. DERYLS GIRL began fast, but dropped out of serious contention soon after the start. SON 0 SKY,* crowded during the final furlong, was unable to seriously threaten the top ones when finally clear near the end. LADY ROWENA, in close quarters at the upper turn, moved up readily when clear, but drifted to the jnside while tiring during the stretch run. MR. DIXVILLE went to the front at once, made the pace until near the finish, but could not hold the winner. SINN FEIN lacked early speed, but finished strongly in the middle of the track. GLANCE raced well to the stretch, but bore out during the drive. MR. DUDE could not keep up. AMAFOX failed to stay after showing early speed. RESULTIN assumed an early lead, gave way to FINE ART, then came again during the drive, but could not seriously threaten the winner. CONVIDADO lacked early foot and passed tiring horses during the stretch run. DUSTLIGHP saved ground at the final turn, but was unable to better his position. RESORT, in hand to the last quarter mile, finished willingly, but could not reach the winner, although easily best of the others. LIMERICK BOY lacked early speed and was never a serious threat to the top ones. TERRY MINE began fast, but could not keep up after showing early Speed.
