Boutonniere Well Fancied In Toledo Allowance Race Has Extortion as Running Mate To Give Entry More Prominence By TOMMY MULLIGAN Staff Correspondent FORT MIAMI, Maumee, Ohio, May 14. — The Turf Flash Purse, a five-furlongs dash for three-year-olds and upward, under allowance conditions and scheduled as the sixth race, holds the spotlight here tomorrow afternoon. A cold snap has prevailed in this area the past few days, but the weather for tomorrows sport promises to be sunny and mild and another large gathering is expected to attend. The track itself is lightning fast and some commendable time moves should be recorded. Those who will contest the feature are such swift and competent performers as W. F. Riggs Cavalier Trim, R. A. Yourees Little Robert, K. Scott, Jr.s, Mon Speed, J. Monteleones Honey Ethel, C. B. Sperrys Debonaire, L. Bonds Grasselon, E. Wheel- ers Lycett, the Black Hawk Stables Red Ginger, Quick Chance Stables Yazdegerd and the powerful H. H. Haag entry of Boutonniere and Extortion. Boutonniere won the second division of the Toledo Handicap over a track termed good and won by a big margin, then came back and scored by a nose in the Detroit Handicap on a fast track at this oval. He is in excellent form and could add the Turf Flash Purse to his laurels tomorrow afternoon. Extortion, his stablemate, is not to be ignored either and there is the possibility that they could run one-two in the headliner. The latter performed once over this course, but may have needed that race as a tightener for tomorrows race.
