REVOLVE, hustled along in the early stages to reach a forward position, took command in the stretch and, tiring near the end, lasted over HIS DUCHESS. The latter went into the. lead a furlong after the start, could no match strides in the stretch, then came gain in the final sixteenth and just failed IN THE VAN was never far back and turned in a creditable effort. BLUE IDLE faltered in the drive. LOT OHONEY gave way gradually after an alert beginning. SISTER COHEN was outrun. HEIRESS showed little. SECOND RACE 6 FURLONGS. BESEECH quickly sprinted to a clear lead and was ridden out while tiring slightly. BLUE HELMET was between horses early, came slightly wide on the final turn, but could not menace the winner. IDLE MEMORY could not stay with the early pace, but finished well. PENNANT DAY was well placed on the outside and was carried slightly wide by BLUE HELMET. PRINCESS ROSE closed some ground. SUNSHINE NELL showed brisk speed f*m the beginning, turned back a challenge from SUN RENE on the turn and was mildly urged to the end. SUN RENE lodged his challenge on the. turn, then drifted out through the drive. BELTON BOY dropped to the rail on the turn, but could not menace the top ones. BLENOMAR sprinted into a clear lead and came to the rail before a quarter mile, shook off KING JOLIE under punishment and held FLAUNT safe. The latter broke in a tangle and dropped back sharply Just after the start, found room on the inside to improve position when gaining best stride and closed strongly. KING JOLIE saved ground while moving up to be closest to the pace, made a game bid in the stretch and hung. CLOSED DOOR was forced wide leaving «.?,.l.u«n- P0WW°W swung wide entering the stretch.
