Lucky Lee Prince Tries To Duplicate Recent Wins Favored in Trot Field of Seven At Maywood Park Track Tonight MAYWOOD PARK, Maywood, 111., May 21.— Reed Yates farms Lucky Lee Prince, winner of both dashes of a divided feature last time out; will try to duplicate that feat tomorrow night in the sixth and ninth races atTMaywood Park. The seven-year-old Lee Harvester gelding, trained and driven by Eddie Fox, is favored in a field of seven A-class trotters which will go the mile twice for a purse of ,000. Providing the competition will be Private Pat, Gene Long, Pull Force, Clever Sunny, John Dee, and Joe Donlin. Joe Donlin, owned by the Bartel Bros, stables, Milwaukee, is expected to be Lucky Lee Princes most serious threat. The six-year-old son of Volomite showed hes rounding into form by winning his most recent effort against much of this same field. Trainer-driver Bob Parkinson will try again to return Clever Sunny to his brilliant form of 1951. The 10-year-old Clever Hanover gelding won half his 38 starts last season, finished 2-3 in the two dashes of the 0,000 Maywood Trotting Derby, and earned a total of 8,000 for owner A. D. Knapp of Jackson, Mich. But Clever Sunny has disappointed so far this year, finishing no better than third in six outings at Santa Anita and Maywood. For Private Pat, driven by Ned Livingston, and Full Force, reined by Jim Fleming, this will be the first start of the meeting. Private Pat, who captured the 1V2 mile Marathon Trot at Maywood last fall, draws the pole in both dashes. E. F. Wagners Lusty Jester, from Springfield, 111., is an overnight choice oyer an array of six pacers in the seventh race, a • CC-class event at one mile. Lusty Jester will start from the inside with Bob Wagner, son of-the owner, driving. The race also will draw Paris Dale, Josedale Double Hal, Lucy F., Joe Barnes, Chester Mc, and Highway Pointer.
