Garrard Ramsey Joins Lions As Assistant Grid Coach DETROIT, Mich., May 21 UP.— Garrard Ramsey has come to terms with the Detroit Lions and will join coach Buddy Parkers staff, general manager Nicholas Kerbawy said today. The 32-year-old veteran of six seasons with the. Chicago Cardinals was obtained from the Windy City eleven in a recent exchange for halfback Jerry Krall. Ramsey assisted Curly Lambeau with the Cardinals last season. Kerbawy also announced that Aldo Forte, an assistant coach, has agreed to a new one-year contract.
