I Foreign Trackmen Allowed | To Compete in AAU Meet LONG BEACH, Calif., May 21 UP.— Foreign trackmen were given the green light today to compete in the National AAU meet here on June 20-21, although they are not eligible for the final U.S. Olympic trials. Meet chairman Milton Fish said participation of foreign; spikemen who are competing for American colleges would not affect any Americans chances to make the Olympic, team. The firsj? six Americans in every event at the National AAU meet will be eligible for the final Olympic trials at the Los Angeles Coliseum June 27-28. Expected to be on hand for the AAU meet are Michigans pon McEwen, who will represent Canada in the Olympic 500-meter run; Dennis Johansson of Purdue and Alf Holmberg of Tennessee. I ! Johansson will represent Finland in. the l Olympics, and Holmberg will compete for Sweden. Both are given good chances to win the AAU 1500-meter run.
