Michael Lamb Stable To Race at Freehold FREEHOLD, N. J., May 27. Michael "Mickey" Lamb, a native son and one of the up-and-coming young drivers around the harness circuit, apparently has Strengthened his stable since last year and comes to the 1952 spring session with a mixture of tried and untried talent. Lamb, who hails from nearby English-town, will be piloting some Connecticut imports along with the horses owned by Michael Lamb, Sr., and himself in his bids for top driving laurels. Iris -Colleen, a Lamb-owned pacer that reeled off four victories at Freehold Raceway in 1951, has been returned for the 22-day meet which opens Wednesday afternoon at 2 oclo.ck. Colleen, a five-year-old standard-bred mare by Chief Abbedale out of Mazzy McKay, "and Advance Guard, a seven-year-old stallion, head up the Lamb stable. Advance Guard is a 2:12 horse, while Colleen is figured at 2:13.
