OFF AT 3:48 EASTERN STANDARD TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. BUSS UP steadily worked way forward, saved ground entering the stretch and, after disposing of TONYS TROUBLE, won going away. TONYS TROUBLE went -to the front during the stretch run, continued gamely, but was unable to withstand the top one. DEPAL assumed command at once, made the pace until inside the stretch, then faltered. CLARA PATRICIA, on the outside and never far back, reached the lead between calls nearing the stretch, but failed to stay when set down in the drive. LEAVEMEALONE-could not keep up. DONDE ES, rank at the post, showed nothing in the running". LADY ROWENA began well, but dropped out of serious contention immediately after the start. MISTER MAC was through early. ADVANCE-CROSS showed nothing after the break. EXTRA INNING was never a serious factor. JOHNS BABY had brief speed. Scratched 56883 Condilida, 109. Overweight Tonys Trouble, 2 pounds. ALLOCATION, away fast, raced CROSS END into defeat before reaching the stretch, then drew clear, winning with something left. WAR BOOTY, outrun to the stretch, was sent to the inside for the drive and finished strongly in a good effort. BROWNSTOWN raced well to the stretch, but faltered during the drive RIPTON qave a fair performance and had no mishap. CROSS END was hustled to the front early, made the pace for three-eighths mile, then gave way when challenged by ALLOCATION. SHIRLSON raced wide. BOTHER tired. RIP TIDE was never dangerous. JUST A BIRD began sluggishly. DREAM COMFORT drifted out during the stretch run. BLEWSO showed nothing. Overweight Dream Comfort, 1 pound; Blewso, 1. VESSAIRESS, forwardly placed and saving ground from the start, responded well during the stretch run and, after racing SIR FAY into defeat, drew clear when ridden out SIR FAY assumed command at once, made the pace until inside the stretch, but could not hold the top one. CONTROVERSITY lacked early speed, but finished well in a sharp effort. SIR ANHUT tired after racing forwardly placed to the stretch. GLORAT could not keep up. IRISH COUNTESS was never dangerous. ROMAN JEAN, never far back, raced by TASK FLEET after entering the stretch and then held on gamely under urging to retain a clear advtantage to the finish. TASK FLEET began fast, made the pace until inside the stretch, but could not hold the top one, although easily best of the others. SOMEIKNOW was unable to better her position when set down through the stretch. MISS LAWDY tired after displaying early speed. DISICAL MISS was never prominent. RUTH MURPHY raced within striking distance of the leaders to the stretch, was sent to the outside for the drive and, responding to urging, raced by the leaders and won going away. THIRD DIVISION, much used engaging AUGUST to the final furlong, was unable to withstand, the winner, although much the best of the others. NEVER IN DOUBT, next to the inner rail for the stretchVrun, could not get to the top ones. AUGUST assumed command soon after the start, made J the pace to the last eighth while engaging THIRD DIVISION, then faltered. PERFIDY tired. LUSTY began fast, 3 but dropped out of serious contention immediately after the start. ALL IS ON raced wide. DOUBLE 0. showed r nothing. GENE GIRL could not keep up. IMPELLER was never dangerous. LOCK OUT, -outrun early, drifted out during the last three-eighths mile and could not seriously threaten the top one. HI BOB saved ground throughout, but failed to rally when, set down for the drive. LATE SHIP raced prominently to the final furlong, then weakened. ZEBINA was never prominent. KASLICK stumbled at the start and was unable to reach serious contention. Won easily; second and third driving. KY. HASH, never far back and well ridden, went to the front after disposing of GAY TEN and drew clear, winning with speed in reserve. ROSE BED began alertly, but dropped back after the start, steadily made up ground after the initial quarter and finished willingly, but could not reach the winner, although much the best of the others. CEDRIC lacked early speed, moved up boldly nearing the stretch, but was unable to better his position when set down in the drive. GAY TEN went to the front early, made the pace for a half mile, then gaveway when challenged by KY. HASH. AIM broke fast, but dropped back soon .after the start. BYRONlC engaged GAY TEN for a half mile, but had nothing left for the drive. CONVICTED disliked the heavy track and raced wide. IN MY BONES was through early. -LUCKY CHIPS had brief speed, but appeared unfit for his engagement, stopping badly after the initial quarter mile.
