I MAUDEAUX 9.00 3 JO Winner B. g, by Flares Peplum, by Sickle, trained by J. W Camac; bred by Morven Stud. WENT TO POST-6:12. OFF AT 6:13 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. LET ME THRU, far back early, worked his way between horses while closing ground after five furlongs, came to the extreme outside to catch the leaders under punishment at the end, then pulled up lame. SUNNYMAN saved ground while reserved-off the pace, rushed into contention entering the: stretch and finished gamely. MAUDEAUX moved to the leaders on the final turn, but lost ground while on the outside and hung. SUPER-SALESMAN made his move in company with MAUDEAUX while between horses and weakened only slightly. GATITlA II. was blocked while running up behind horses on the stretch turn and could not get up in time when clear. CHAGIN rallied belatedly. LINDA A. and JAPHAP vied for the pace under pressure and. quit. Scratched 578663 Thiercelin, 115; 57866 Wide Margin, 115; 578664 Sea Location, 110; 58098 Sagqara, 110.
