Andy B. W. Assigned 116 For Narcissus Handicap Impost Is Two Pounds Less Than Volcanics for Week-End Stake HAWTHORNE, Cicero, 111., May 27. By virtue of his clever victory in the Edward J. Fleming Memorial Handicap last Saturday and his previous consistent record, the four-year-old Andy B. W., owned by the Chicagoans, Maurice Black and Barnett Hokin, has been assigned 116 pounds-by racing secretary Larry Bogenschutz for next Saturdays one and one-sixteenth miles Narcissus Handicap. This is two pounds less than the top weight of 118 assigned to Walmac Farms Big stallion. Volcanic, now seven, who has been a distinguished performer in stakes and handicaps ever since he came out in Citations year, five seasons ago. Volcanic became a champion of the grass courses, holder of several records, besides being in the top flight of handicap horses on the flat.
