Mediocre Program Presented Today at Suffolk Downs SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., May 27. Conserving the better-grade thoroughbreds for the big week-end crowd expected here Friday and Saturday, platers are to have their innings at Suffolk Downs tomorrow. With the exception of the fourth race, a five-furlong dash for juveniles, which havent won two races, the entire card is given over to the inferior members of the local thoroughbred colony. Probably the best event of the program is the seventh race at a mile and a sixteenth which attracted eight middle-distance plater of the ,500 to ,000 class. That mile and a sixteenth test carries a purse value of ,000 and wilL be contested by Spider Rock, Eight Bells, Proud Sh Milan Boy Grand Demand, Left Winger, Fly Around and Ariels Mark. Probable choice in the race will be divided between Spider Rock and Grand Demand. Each has been meeting slightly better competition than their opponents, although their success has not been good.
