Fire HilLGail for Osselets HAWTHORNE, Cicero, HI., May 27. Dr. Alex Harthill, who was a visitor at Hawthorne Monday, stated that he would, "fire" the Kentucky Derby winner, Hill Gail, for osselets. The operation was to take place this morning. Hill Gail developed the infirmities following the running of the Derby and for that reason was withdrawn from the Preakness and the Belmont. The colt arrived at Arlington Park with a number of other Calumet stable horses last week. The firing means that Hill Gail will not be available for racing purposes until late summer, at least. Dr. Harthill will remain for several days to keep watch over the star three-year-old.
