WINGDINGER was with the first flight from the break, went into command at the furlong post and drew away. CORRECT displayed speed from the start and faltered in the final furlong. BOOKWORM broke slowly, then worked his way up between horses and showed a good effort. CLEAR PATH lacked room between horses early. YEOMAN had no mishap. TONY PAT, JR. was slow to gain best stride. DRESSY LADY, not far back but racing wide, was forced quite wide entering the stretch when improving position and disposed of the leaders in the-late stages. STORM AT SEA , was forced to race slightly wide while well placed, swung wide leaving the turn, threatened boldly in the drive, but was not good enough. BULLY BUNTING alternated for the lead from the start and held on gamely until the end, but was not good enough. STAR RUBY raced with the leaders throughout and continued willingly until the end. BATTLEBUZ had no excuse. FLICKA STAR tired. ANNIE SILVER had brief speed and quit. Scratched— 57415 Sahara, 102. Overweight— Brave Bim, 1 pound; Copper Plate, 1. EXTRA POINTS assumed command when BLANDYSTONE shortened stride, drew out on his own courage, hobbled at the final jump and won easily. SUNDANCE KID, reserved early, failed to menace the top one, but was clearly best of the others. RANK made a bad landing at the seventh jump and tired. AUFTAKT jumped poorly at the fifth obstacle and failed to be a serious contender. BLANDYSTONE jumped poorly when tiring. FRIESE showed little and hobbled at the eighth jump. Won driving; second and third the same. ADA C. lacked speed early, moved up on the outside when gaining best stride and wore down the leaders in the final stride. FINCHHAVEN saved ground improving position, came out slightly to go between horses in the stretch and just failed. PAT II. established a clear lead quickly and made the pace until the concluding strides. SUN ROAMER saved ground and turned in a good effort. WAR-ASTER was slow to start and bore in thorugh the drive. MUSIC HOSS 5 had no excuse. BOLD MAN weakened after pressing the pace. COMBAT BOOTS was unhurried while gradually making up ground on the outside, moved up quickly when called upon in the stretch and drew away. MOSTEST, allowed to drop back under restraint, was bothered leaving the turn when KEN came out sharply, then closed with good courage. BLUE HELMET weakened in the drive after setting the pace. DONOR was forced wide leaving the turn. BLENOMAR was closest to the pace and gave way in the final furlong. HIGH BRACKET tired suddenly in the drive. BROTHER GHOST, steadied along until midway of the turn, was guided to the extreme outside to make his bid entering the stretch, was taken up slightly when impeded at the furlong post, took command midway of the final furlong and won easily. WINGING ALONG began to bear out on the turn while prominent, swung wide and continued to go wide when taking command and could not resist the top one. ROZS STAR held command for six furlongs and shortened stride in the drive. SERVICE moved through on the rail to be a sharper factor and had nothing left for the drive. NOBLE SUN tired.
