Arnold; bred by A. Tennis. WENT TO POST-6:23. OFF AT 6:231 EASTERN STANDARD TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. MISTER PERFECT, never far back, raced by HARD TO GET during the stretch run, then held ROYCE safe. The latter, away alertly and forwardly placed from the beginning, finished strongly, but could not overtake the winner. DUKE BOSWELL gave a good effort and had no mishap. TEXAS RAIN began sluggishly, but made up ground during the final quarter mile. ROSE BED had no excuse. HARD TO GET went to the front early, made the pace for a half mile, then gave way when challenged by MISTER PERFECT. KY. HASH was never prominent. SMARTY JACOPO could not keep up. TRAMORE BAY, outrun early, moved up fast nearing the stretch and, responding, to puishment, wore down SULTY in the last strides. SULTY, forwardly placed from the start, reached the lead during the stretch run after disposing of INACCESSIBLE, but could not withstand the winner. INACCESSIBLE was hustled into command soon after the start, made the pace until inside the stretch, but faltered when challenged by SULTY. ANGLE BAR gave a fair effort and had no mishap. MISTY EIGHT was outrun. IM DON was never dangerous. JUBILEE GEM began sluggishly. MIO LIPS broke slowly and never reached serious contention, pulling up quite lame. MYRMIDON gave way after showing early speed. MY JAM was through early. Scratched— 58348 Blewso, 111. Tramore Bay claimed by L Rodriguez. Attendance, 9,171; Total Mutuel Pool, 67,074.
