Dwyer Has Nomination Roster of Forty-Nine 0,000 Aqueduct Sophomore Feature to Be Renewed on July 5 NEW YORK, N. Y., June 6.— Aqueduct, which opens its 27-day summer meeting on June 12, is in an advantageous spot as far as the three-year-old situation is concerned. Its 0,000 Dwyer could be the determining factor in unscrambling that division as all but one of the outstanding hopefuls are included in the 49 nominees for the mile and a quarter classic on July 5. - Calumets Hill Gail, the Kentucky Derby winner, is out of action at the moment, having been fired recently, and is not expected back in action before mid-summer. White Oak Stables Blue Man, the Preak-ness victor and favorite for the Belmont Stakes, is the top name for the Dwyer, plus several who passed up the first two events for the "Triple Crown." This year is definitely not a vintage one in the three-year-old division. As a class, however, there is little to choose between them since they have been taking turns beating each other. The Dwyer attracted practically all of the winners of the three-year-old stakes run during the winter and early spring. Blue Man, besides winning the Preakness, accounted for a division of the Flamingo and Experimental No. 2. John C? Clarks Charlie McAdam accounted for the other division of the Flamingo and a split of the Svift before running out of gas in the Wood Memorial.
