Turf Writers, Delaware Park Officials Meet in Golf Match DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 6. — Turf writers covering the Delaware ,Park races and departmental officials of the Stanton track will clash on the golf links of the Newark Del. Country Club in the near future in a repeat performance of their 1951 battle of the bunkers. John K. Johnston, chairman of the Delaware Racing Commission, will again be host for the gala occasion. Plans call for six players on each team, with a spare or two on the "also eligible" list in case of late scratches. The brass hats have Bryan Field, Tom Field, Al Fahey, Fred Hayden, Lester Bernd and Al Lavin. The scribes, seeking to avenge last years defeat, have lined up Bill Boniface, Snow-den Carter, Palmer Heagerty, Bob Mc-Curley, Bill Jaeger and Milton Feldman. The matches," scheduled to begin at ap-prorimately 5:30 p. m., will be on a match play basis.
