. Nineteen Entered In Polly Drummond Home-Made, Countess Jane, Wise Scholar and Emardee Stake Winners in Fixture By PALMER HEAGERTY Staff Correspondent DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 6.— The 0,000 added Polly Drummond Stakes, a five-furlong dash for two-year-old fillies, has its fifteenth running as the featured event on tomorrows stellar attraction. An unprecedented response to such fixtures finds a bumper crop of 19 lassies entered overnight, which means that the winning owner will receive 3,925 should the field remain intact. Heading the field are Alfred G. Vander-bilts Home-made Ella K. Brysons Wise Scholar, Mrs. Wallace Gilroys Emardee and Leroy Hetzels Countess Jane, each of whom has already distinguished herself with a stakes success. Others in the line-up are: Brookfield Farms I Salute, Thomas Piatts Lillal, Cary C. Boshamers Late Model, Ogden Phipps Flirtatious, Darby Dan Farms coupling of Melanesian and Sharbot, H. B. Delmans Judy Duns-tan, Mrs. Kenneth Gilpins Quisas, the three-horse coupling of H. A. Diensts Blue Opal, F. C. Gablers Twilight Song and W-L. McCures Bon Jour Alice, Mrs. Lyle Phillips Ari Gold, Mrs. L. L. Voight, Jr.s Scottish Air, A. P. Giordanos E-Town, and JRokeby Stables Fairy Sea. May Have Best in Both Divisions In Native Dancer, Vanderbilt may have the best of this seasons juvenile colts, and many believe that Home-Made may earn the samexlistinction among the fillies. This daughter of Occupy-Plucky Maid has won twice in three starts and accounted for the filly division of the National Stallion Stakes. In her lone defeat she was beaten by a nose by Countess Jane in the Fashion. She will be ridden by Eric Guerin, who has just completed a suspension meted out by the New York stewards. Wise Scholar and Countess Jane each scored a pair of stakes victories, the former in the Hialeah Juvenile and the Bowie Kindergarten and the Hetzel miss in the Fashion and a division of the Rosedale. Wise Scholar has been unplaced only once in nine starts, while Countess Jane has won three purses in a quintet of appearances. Nick Shuk will be astride Wise Scholar, with Ronnie Nash set to ride Countess Jane. Emardee, like Countess Jane, won a division of the Rosedale and accounted for an overnight race for her other victory in six starts. In the recent Rancocas, which was won by Biddy Jane, she was beaten just a length while finishing fifth. I Salute, like several of the Polly Drummond starters, last competed in the Rancocas, and she turned in a top effort while beaten two heads in finishing third. In her only other engagement she was* a galloping winner. Late Model, Melanesian and Sharbot earned the money positions as named in a recent overnight event, with Twilight Song, Ari Gold, Scottish Air and Blue Opal finishing in the also-rans. Fairy Sea, E-Town and Bon Jour Alice will be launching their campaigns in the Polly Drummond. Lillal has raced but twice, winning a maiden race at Churchill Downs and coming back with a good effort to be third behind Bubbley and Biddy Jane in the Debutante Stakes. Judy Dunstan won one of three races in New York, while Flirtatious has scored twice in seven starts. Quisas has raced but twice, finishing second on each occasion.
