Keene, Injured Prizefighter, Reported in Good Condition PHILADELPHIA, Pa., June 5 UP. — Julian Keene of Washington, who suffered a "slight brain concussion" last night when he was knocked out in a preliminary to the Walcott — Charles heavyweight championship bout at Municipal Stadium, was reported in good condition at St. Agnes Hospital. "I feel fine today*," Keene said, "but the doctors want me to stay here until they can take X-ray pictures. Ill probably get out of the hospital tomorrow or Sunday." Keene was knocked out by Billy Smith of Oakland, Calif., in the fourth round of their bout after having been floored four times in the second and third. -■» He was taken to the hospital when his handlers at the ring could not revive him. He recovered consciousness shortly after bis arrival At the hospital.
