Greatoak Flare, Castile Renew Ft. Miami Rivalry Former Disqualified in Last Meeting; Four Others Entered FORT MIAMI, Maumee, Ohio. May 7.— J. W. Cowards Greatoak Flare and R. Campbells Castile renew their Fort Miami rivalry tomorrow at the same mile route which saw Greatoak Flare finish in front of the Campbell gelding in their last outing only to be disqualified for interference in the final drive. These two head a six-horse field which will compete in the Lima Purse, top attraction in a nine-race program. Once again the entries are on the light side with the rains of the past days turning the track into the first rough one of the meeting. The renewal of the rivalry overshadows the interests of Lot Won, Chicle Sador, Dawn Can and Honey Bun, who make up the remainder of the field in the Lima Purse, honoring the nearby Ohio municipality which takes its name from the ancient capital of the Inca world. Greatoak Flare held an open length advantage over Castile at the close of their past meeting, but Buddy Mills, who will again* handle the Heliopolis — Fairy Day gelding, had to take his horse up twice in the final furlong. For this, Greatoak Flare was disqualified from first position .and placed second. No rider has been named on the four-year-old son of Grey Flares — Bebo, but his connections are sure that their racer was deprived of a hard-earned victory and are anxious to prove that Castile is not a better horse. Dawn Can will be seeking the second straight victory in the Lima and will deserve some support as will Lot Won who faltered after reaching the lead in a shorter affair but the main interest will be the meeting of Greatoak Flare and Castile.
