Off-Course Betting Delayed NEW YORK, N. Y., May 7.— Further explanation of of f -course betting in New York State was put off today until a date "in the near future," by the joint legislative committee of the New York Racing Commission. The committee, which is studying racing in New York, reached its decision at a meeting presided over by state senator Harry Gittleson.
