More Juvenile Races Than Usual at Beulah Several Youngsters Included in Sackerr, Root and Sharpe Units GROVE CITY, Ohio, May 7. — Far -more than the usual number of juveniles are found in Beulah Parks equine colony of 900 members and racing secretary E. W. Bury plans to see to it that the babies will get every opportunity to display their prowess during the 19-day meeting opening Saturday. The first two-year-old race of the Beulah season is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12. It will be at five furlongs. A random check of several of the stables at Beulah reveals that L. L. Sacket has six two-year-olds in his stable of nine horses. R. W. Root, with a stable of eight, has five juveniles under his care. Root again this year is campaigning the Botten Bucket Stable. Three baby racers are included in James Rigneys stable of five. D. O. Lesher has a promising two-year-old in Venci Star. The Fred Sharpe menage lists three juveniles, St. Vude, Rubio and Sunny Side Up. Beulah s annual press party was held Tuesday in the clubhouse on the grounds. Another harbinger of the season will appear Friday when George H. Reverman, mutuel department manager, conducts a roll call of his crew at 1 p. m. EST. Post time for the first race Saturday and daily throughout the meeting will be 2:30 p. m. EST. Nine races will be contested on Wednesdays and Saturdays and eight on the other days of the week. Purse distribution will surpass 00,000 — a record for a 19-day session at Beulah.
