LANDSEAIR stumbled and almost fell after a sixteenth of a mile, settled into stride nicely to improve his position, but was unable to get to the winner. MAD HARE closed willingly after trailing. PENOCC held a favorable position into the stretch and tired. ROWDY was outrun. JEANNIE C. stopped to a walk after holding a slight lead at intervals during the run along the backstretch.
