CLEAR DAWN had the most speed from the beginning and raced along evenly under pressure to hold the contention safe. LADY SAILOR, fractious and unseating her rider at the gate, ran up behind horess entering the stretch, was then taken to the outside and finished gamely. POINT 0 VIEW was a contender racing between horses and finished well. HARVEST GIRL rapidly entered contention after a slow start, loomed boldly from the outside in the early stretch and tired. LOVELY WAVE had good early speed and faltered. HELEN GRAYSON lost ground racing on the outside and faltered. DONA FLO faltered in the drive. FLYING WEATHER came around the leaders on the stretch turn, attempted to lug in while wresting command but drew away handily in the last furlong. TITANS MATCH shook free of ERRARD LEA on the turn, held a clear lead into the stretch and weakened. SILK QUEST moved forwardly between horses on the turn, then lacked an effective rally. SONOFUN raced slightly wide while showing speed and weakened. DOVER" COAST began slowly, reached a contending position early and finished evenly. ERRARD LEA quit. CAPTAIN ARDEN raced wide. MLLE. ELL dwelt at the start, showed high speed down the backstretch and stopped. FAST CASH raced on the outside of the bunched field, gradually drew clear when punished in the stretch straightaway and drifted to the inside while increasing advantage under hand urging. SAM BROOK strongly raced into closer contention from the outside on the stretch turn and finished gamely to narrowly best RIGHT BIT. The latter did not appear to be going in best stride, although forwardly placed early, came out slightly for the drive and, failing to gain under punishment, finished well between horses under hand urging. PEGEEN maintained a short advantage racing between horses under brisk handling and weakened slightly in the stretch run. THITHER lacked speed away from the gate BANQUET BELL faltered.
