Brookshier Joins Eagles PHILADELPHIA, Pa., June 23 UP.— Tom Brookshier, University of Colorado defensive back, who was rated best in the Big Seven Conference, today is a member of the Philadelphia Eagles professional football team. The 21-year-old gridder, who signed yesterday, became the seventeenth rookie and fifty-third player to come to terms with the Eagles for the 1953 season.
