JULIAN LOOlS, a keen factor from the beginning, took command approaching the stretch, held on gamely during the drive and withstood ENGLISH FLIGHT. The latter began fast, raced forwardly placed throughout but could not overtake the winner. DUNTREATH MISS took an early lead, gave way to JULIAN LOUIS but held on well thereafter in a good effort. PEEKIN, next to the inner rail from the start, had a rough trip. DIVERTIDO lacked early speed. LIKE SWEEP was outrun. SHAMROCK LAD tired during the drive. FLYING BOMB raced wide through the stretch. WICKED GIRL was through early. PHI began slowly and raced greenly. SNITCHER showed nothing. CROSS BONES drifted out at the stretch turn, responded readily when straightened for the drive and was up to dispose of the leaders in the last sixteenth mile. LUCKY CHIPS went to the front early, was much used disposing of COUNT GALLA, held on well during the drive but could not withstand the winner. DEVOTIONAL gave a sharp effort and had no mishap. LEGS raced forwardly placed throughout and had no excuse. BROWNSTOWN was outrun. WOOD H saved ground the entire trip but could nofseriously threaten the leaders. COUNT GALLA raced with LUCKY CHIPS for a half mile, then gave way. QUEENS MYRTLE began slowly. CAPTAIN FIN showed nothing. ALL IS ON was never prominent. WILD HEIRESS was through early. SHAKES IMAGE saved ground from the start, took command when MISS DONELLA bore out and drew clear, winning with something left. HOSTILE MISS lacked early foot, but finished fairly well in the middle of the track. SCALE could not overtake HOSTILE MISS when set down through the stretch. LOVE BUG began fast, but steadily lost ground after the start. MISS DONELLA took an early lead, set-the pace to the lastguarter mile, then bore out badly, losing alt chance. LAST HALF was outrun.
