SINN FEIN drew clear soon after the start, established a rapid pace and continued on gamely under a sustained stretch drive. METROPOLIS . broke alertly, was steadied close behind the leader, rallied briefly to engage for command on the far turn, was not good enough, but continued on gamely. BLUE KAY, forwardly placed for a half mile, dropped back on the turns, rallied when roused and closed, with good energy. CLASSY CHANCE had no mishap. MESMER saved ground to no avail. LOIS CHEER, a forward factor along the inside, lacked a late rally. LADY ROUNDERS weakened. ALWAYS ARGUE saved ground to no avail. CALLUNA neared contention after a half-mile and failed to make up ground in the late stages. MEG showed a dull effort. The others" were outrun. WELL WELL passed horses on the far turn, came wide into the stretch and finished stoutly. ELEVEN-BOY JR. established the pace for seven furlongs continued on gamely after giving way, but was not good enough. MILL POINT, forwardly placed under stout restraint, failed to rally under late urging. QUATREF0IL weakened after forcing the pace most of the trip. Scratched— 891182 Red Hoops, 108.
