Run St. Leger September 12 LONDON, England, June 23 Reuters.— At the request of the government, th« stewards of The Jockey Club have changed the date of the Doncasters St. Leger, 14-furlong classic race. The meeting, originally scheduled from September 8 to 11, will now begin September 9, enabling the St. Leger to be run on Saturday, September 12.
