GREYTOWN, off quickly, remained close to MARCY N. while racing on the inside of the latter and, after bearing out nearing the end, won narrowly, but was disqualified for interfering with MARCY N. and placed second. MARCY N. showed good speed from the start and, racing well, might have finished first, but for the interference suffered. CONVAIR raced up gamely after going a quarter and went well thereafter. LITTLE EGYPT saved ground in the stretch and went fairly well to the end. CLEVELANDER was never a.serious factor. SILLY SARA sprinted up strongly on the outside after going half the distance and, coming fast well out from the rail to the stretch, took command to win going away. TUMBLE-HOME moved strongly between horses in the stretch when urged and was going gamely at the end. EDUCT was in rather tight quarters early and was outpaced to the stretch, but finished well. MOOT went to the front early and well rated while showing the way, was not called upon for her best until the final quarter, then moved away to win easily. RARITY was also well restrained in the. early part and made a good run nearing the last hurdle, but did not seriously threaten the winner. JARRIN JOHN was always well up and went steadily to the finish. MAMISSION was off poorly but reached a contending position after going a quarter and performed steadily thereafter. CABOT had no apparent excuse. STEP DANCE weakened in the final run.s STORM HOUR tired badly. STORM ON was pulled up after dropping far out of it but finished the course. WILD TEDDY rushed up on the outside after entering the stretch to take command and -just failed to last. FLYING PAT was always well up while saving ground in a good effort. IDA C. was racing fairly well at the end. LADY INDIAN was never a serious contender. FANCY STEP and STAR WISH tired. CENTENAIRE went to the front at the start and well handled while making the pace, saved ground throughout and shaken up in the last sixteenth, held BLESS AMERICA. The latter was always closest to the leader, and responding in the stretch was gaining at the finish. REFRESHER was slow to get in stride and raced wide in the stretch but finished well. KLOHOME-failed to offer a threat. CHARCO stopped when put to a drive. FOX CASTLE WAS ORDERED WITHDRAWN BY THE VETERINARIAN AT THE STARTING GATE AND MONEY WAGERED ON HIM WAS REFUNDED. DIANE B. moved up gamely after going half the distance and raced well to the end. BELLE REBELLE closed ground and was racing well at the end. DEAR PAT went in steady fashion. ADMIRALS WAVE tired. JANA was unable to find an opening on the inside of HONEY PLEASE while racing close to the latter in the early running, was then taken to the outside of her on the stretch turn and tired badly in the last eighth. VAN CROSBY soon sprinted to the front and, racing under slight restraint while setting the pace, drew away when ready in the stretch and was -never in danger of being headed. BLAZE was never too far removed and staged a fairly good run through the stretch, but did not appear to be a match for the winner. BERSEEM improved his place under urging in the stretch and was going well at the end. AMATI had speed to the last eighth, then weakened. RED SPEED also had some early speed. DEAN CAVY was off well enough, but soon dropped back and failed to better his standing when urged, running considerably below his best form. Scratched— 81275 Power Plant, 110. GRAND JUROR was never far from the pace and much the best, raced to the middle of the track on the stretch turn to take command and draw out with ridiculous ease in the last furlong to finish far in front. STORM RIDDEN trailed for half the distance, then closed considerable ground to finish fast. WOODSIDE also closed stoutly. REPARTEE was close enough in the early part and had no apparent excuse.
