Named for Godfreys Wife DETROIT, Mich., May 28. — Among the better-rated two-year-olds on the grounds for the 1954 season is one named Mary Godfrey, named in honor of Arthur Godfreys wife. It is owned jointly by Jerry Lynch of Detroit and Stanley Green, the latter being a Godfrey neighbor in Virginia. The filly will make the first start of its career in the near future.
