RESIGNED broke alertly, ■was taken back off the pace and steadied, regaining command along the inside before a half mile, increased ■advantage when roused and was under constant urging to the end. SUfy DIVER worked his way up on the outside W in a good effort. IRISH TUDOR raced with the pace for six furlongs before weakening. AVELLA rallied mildly in the closing quarter mile. ABSTRACT dropped off the pace, worked his way up on the inside, but was never ■a threat ASTEROIDE was unable to keep up. ROYAL SCOT showed nothing.
