Orders Title Bout Gloyes Weighed, Kept in Safe Place NEW YORK, N. Y., May" 28 U.P..— Chairman Robert Christenberry of the Ne York State Athletic Commission rulec today that the gloves which will be used ir the heavyweight championship fight between Rocky Marciano and Ezzard Charlei on June 17 be weighed and then kepi sealed until just before the bout. He ordered that the 24 gloves be weighec by the New York city Department ol Weights and Measures and then be sealec and placed in the custody of deputy boxing commissioner Jack Duberstein. Christenberrys action followed a claim by Jake Mintz, co-manager of Charles that Marciano planned to wear lightei gloves than those provided by the commission for the fight.
