Hasseyampa Drills Six Furlongs In 1 :20 for Peabody Stakes LINCOLN FIELDS, Crete, III., May 29.— Only one of the probable starters in the 5,000 Peabody Memorial Stakes next Monday was on the Lincoln Fields track during training hours this morning. That one, however, was. Walmac Farms Hasseyampa, the favorite for the nine-furlong fixture. The track was muddy from rains ,of the night before. The three-year-old son of Alibhai — War Siren, by Man o War only breezed three-quarters in 1:20, not being in need of much work so soon after his good race in the Preakness in which he finished third to Hasty Road and Correlation last Saturday. Hasty House Farms Sea O Erin, regarded as Hasseyampas principal rival in the Memorial Day feature, has been training well at Washington Park in preparation for his Monday engagement. Buddah Stables maiden Illinois-bred Baby Tucky, a Peabody nominee, was beaten narrowly by Momo Fan in the first race today, a six-furlong event. It was the seventh start for Baby Tucky.
