Stallion Riding Hill Sold For Export to Russia LONDON, England, May 28 Reuters . — Riding Hill, nine-year-old stallion has been purchased by the Anglo-Irish Bloodstock Agency from former diplomat, Sir Percy Loraine for export to Russia, it was learned here today. This is the first sale of bloodstock to Russia from Britain in nearly 50 years. Negotiations for the purchase of other prominent stallions by Russian interests are now pending. Riding Hill, by Devonian — Compress, won several valuable stakes for Sir Percy! Loraine, including the Sunninghill Park Stakes and ChurchiUStakes at Ascot and the Newmarket Stakes. ,
