Helioscope Nominated To Four More Stakes GARDEN STATE PARK, CAMDEN, N. J., May 2 — Immediately following the spectacularly game triumph of William G. Helis, Jr.s Helioscope in the Valley Forge Handicap, Maurice Jock Barshack, who manages the Helis racing interests, announced that he had nominated the four-year-old colt to the 00,000 added, The Cali-fornian to be run at one mile and a sixteenth at Hollywood Park on June 11. Barshack said that no decision had been reached whether the colt will make the long journey West, but he pointed out the fact that the allowance conditions of The Californian will call for Helioscope to carry only 117 pounds, which is 13 pounds less than he carried in the Valley Forge. At the same time a nomination was made for the 00,000 added Hollywood Gold Cup that will be renewed at one mile and a quarter on July 16. Barshack also announced that he has nominated Helioscope to the 0,-000 added Massachusetts Handicap at Suffolk Downs, to be run May 19, and to the 5,000 added Suburban Handicap that will be staged at Belmont Park on May 20.
