Spring Meeting at Pimlico Features Daily Double BALTIMORE, Md., May 2. — As an added service to its patrons this spring, the Maryland Jockey Club will offer a Daily Double in addition to the usual Daily Doubles of and 0 denominations, Louis Pondfield, executive director of Pimlico, announced today. Mutuel manager Robert Sloan has made provisions for sellers pf the new Daily Double at all mutuel locations of the Pimlico plant. The doubles will be available on both floors of the members club, on all flpors of the new clubhouse structure and in the third division under the old stand. This will be the first time a Daily Double has been offered at one of the states major tracks, and it is another stop in the Maryland Jockey Club policy of providing the best possible service for the fans. Such wagering has been conducted successfully at Hialeah.
