Favorites Beaten in Two Main Races at Longchamp Special to Daily Racing Form LONGCHAMP, Paris, France, May 2 Reuters. — Favorites were beaten in the. two main races here Sunday, the ,400 Prix Nbailles over 11 furlongs and the ,200 Prix de lEsperance over 15 furlongs. Vimy, by Wild Risk, out of Mimi, won the Noailles by four lengths from Zinosca with the 5-to-4 favorite, Beignet, another length and a half away, third in the field of seven runners. Phil Drake, the pre-race favorite, did not start, due to a sprained fetlock. The outsider, Malar, by Sunny-Boy,* but of Mieteand, won the lEsperance by threes quarters of a length from the 6-to-4 favorite, Polar, with Coryvante a length away in third place.
