May 10 Reuters. — When the outsider, the French imported filly, Poema, by Micipsa, out of Fair Lily, led from start to finish to win the Bea-monte Stakes, the equivalent of the Spanish Oaks, Sunday, only one ticket for the days triple event was bet which included this race. Consequently, the lucky buyer received odds of over 4,700-to-l, the pay-y ment being 47.247 pesetas for 10 or ,316 for 28 cents. Poema started at odds of nearly 25-to-l and won easily by five lengths from Tbessa, with the Irish-bred Answer Me four lengths away in third place in the field of eight.
