Murphy Current Meeting Most Successful One Mutuel Employees at Ail-Time High Nelson to Ride at Balmoral Session SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, HI., May 10.— Sportsmans Park is advertised as being "Americas most fashionable half-mile track." Wouldnt know about that, that, as as when when the the Beau Beau Brummels Brummels , that, that, as as when when the the Beau Beau Brummels Brummels and their feminine counterparts are parading to the pari-mutuel windows, we are usually busy with our chores atop the roof. However, financial returns leave no doubt that it is the most successful financially, and it should wind up showing a decided increase in monetary return over the session staged here last season. Robert Hart, Sr., who is in charge charge of of the the mutuel mutuel department, department, charge charge of of the the mutuel mutuel department, department, msJMBS tma?ffl has more employees than ever under his supervision at present. Over 400 were on the job on a recent Saturday. And although the thronging to the windows has been heavy, particularly on week ends, few have been unable to obtain a ticket on their choice, and then only if they were tardy. An example is the Daily Double line-ups. We were under the impression that most of those wagering on the Doubles would make an appearance at the "last minute," as it were. Hart sets us right. Says that the play on the combinations is more spread, and with the addition of more ticket windows this year and more space to maneuver, everyone can be accommodated without inconvenience.
