HEIRLOOM was rated setting the pace, drifted out to the middle of the track in the stretch run, but continued determinedly and narrowly bested BIGDO ME. The latter was never far back racing between horses, closed with a sudden bid in the final furlong and just missed. BRANDYS LAST was a keen contender, swerved slightly after heading the winner in the stretch and weakened. EASTERN GLOW luckily found room to enter contention early on the inside, but had to be steadied as BRANDYS LAST swerved midstretch and hung. WORLD SERIES lost ground racing outside horses and gave a good effort. HI-ROCK weakened in th edrive. HAPPY CARRIER broke poorly. LADY ADVOCATE was outrun. BLUE SQUARE lost ground early and quit.
